Creators are good for the world.
Judging by some of the comments I see across the internet, that can be a controversial statement.
And I get it, when I first started at Modash four years ago, I was a cynic. “Some creators are terrible for the world.”
(In my defense, this was the summer Andrew Tate’s content was on my feed every day. And I have 4 nephews, two of whom were old enough to be impressed by him, but not old enough to see through him.
But it was other creators who pulled them away from that questionable content. So sure, there are some “creators” that are meeeeh for the world, but for every one of those, there are 1000s who are good.
They make us laugh, they make us think, they wow us with their brilliance, or comfort us with their relatability. They help us discover new things all the time, and sometimes, they partner with brands to do it.
It is this partnership, the one between creators and brands, that lets creators keep doing what they’re doing.
Our mission at Modash is to help every creator earn a living. And the way we do that is by making sure that brands can work with them and keep working with them. THAT’S YOU. The marketers who do this work.
And the thing I’ve noticed about the influencer marketers who do this job? They LOVE creators. They, too, believe that creators are good for the world.
But as marketers, we also know that marketing can ruin everything. I really, really don’t want us to ruin the creator world. And I hope, the 66K of you who are here, also don’t want to ruin this world.
So, let’s celebrate it instead.

At the first-ever Return on Influence Festival ‘26.
(I’m calling it ar-oh-eye fest, for short). We’re bringing the best of influencer marketing across four virtual stages to share stories, play games, and connect with each other.
Where influencer fits: The stage where you’ll hear where influencer fits into the wider marketing mix.
How brands use influencer marketing: The one where you get the behind-the-scenes of real campaigns marketers are running. What’s working and how you can do the same.
The feed: You’ll hear from creators directly and discover everything else you need to know about getting it right in the feed.
Future of influence: Could your program handle going from 50 creators to 5,000? Learn how brands are preparing for what’s next (beyond AI)
We’re intentionally building this to be the most useful, most valuable event you attend in 2026.
